Inserting a Block Diagram Directly in an RBD Block Library File
You can insert a diagram directly in an RBD Diagram Library file and then construct the block diagram by inserting and defining diagram objects.
1. Open or create the RBD Diagram Library file.
2. For each diagram to insert, do the following:
a. In the last table row in the RBD Table window, click < Click here to insert a new record >.
The diagram that is inserted is assigned the next sequential identifier based on the format specified for RBD Block Diagram Identifier, under Identifiers in this file’s properties. The default is Block Diagram(X) , where (X) is the next available numeric value.
b. Complete the options in the table, which are the same as those in the RBD Table window for a System file in the same Project. For more information, see RBD Table Pane.
3. For each diagram in the table, insert and define diagram objects in the same way as in System file block diagrams. For more information, see Block Diagram How-Tos.
4. When finished, close the RBD Diagram Library file.
