You must have failure/repair data for each block inserted in the diagram. If you are using the RBD module along with the FMEA, FRACAS, Prediction, or Weibull module, you can link a block to a system tree item, FMEA item, mode, or cause, or a Weibull data set. When a block is linked to another item in the System file, the failure/repair data for the block is retrieved from the linked item. Consequently, manually entering calculation properties for that block is no longer necessary. If a block’s failure/repair data for a block resides in a source outside of Windchill Risk and Reliability, you can manually enter or possibly import this data.
