Connecting Blocks in Any Configuration Manually
You can manually insert connectors from the connection points for the start node, blocks, and end node in the diagram. The mouse cursor changes to indicate when you can start and stop a connector. You can stop a connector anywhere on a target block.
1. Click the connection point coming out of the start node and hold down the left mouse button while you drag the mouse until it is over the connection point going into the first block in the path. A connector appears as you drag the mouse.
2. Once you are correctly positioned over the connection point, release the left mouse button to insert the connector.
If you are not correctly positioned when the left mouse button is released, a connector is not inserted.
3. For each additional block in the path, click the connection point coming out of the last connected block and drag the mouse until it is over the connection point going into the next block in the path.
4. Repeat the previous step until the last block has been connected to the end node.

You can also insert a connector by clicking the input connection point of the target block and holding down the left mouse button while dragging backwards to the output connection point of the source block.
