Calculations - Results Page
Under Calculations in the Calculation Properties window, the Results page displays the results for the block once RBD calculations are run. For more information, see Calculating RBD Results. Before results are calculated, this page displays the following message: No Results have been calculated.
The following table describes all of the results that can appear on the Results page. The results that do actually appear depend on the selections that were made on the General page under RBD in the Calculate window prior to running RBD calculations. For more information, see General Page. The default results are reliability and unreliability for each calculation data point between the start and end times.
Result
Description
Time
The time at which to display calculated results.
Reliability
The reliability of the block at each time point.
Unreliability
The unreliability of the block at each time point.
Availability
The availability of the block at each time point.
Unavailability
The unavailability of the block at each time point.
Mean availability
The average availability of the block at each time interval.
Mean unavailability
The average unavailability of the block at each time point.
Failure frequency
The frequency of failures expected during each time point.
Total downtime
The cumulative downtime expected during each time interval. In a one-component system, the total downtime for the component can differ from the total downtime for the system. This is because the component might not fail but, due to its inability to meet specified constraints, the system fails.
Expected number of failures
The number of times the component is expected to fail during each time interval.
Capacity
The capacity of the system at each time point.
Mean capacity
The average capacity of the system during each time interval.
Wait time – Spares
The total expected time waiting to receive spares from spares pools during each time interval.
Wait time – Labor
The total expected time waiting for the repair team to arrive and then perform the maintenance during each time interval.
