Viewing Mission Reliability Results
On the Prediction page in the
Calculate window, you can select
Mission calculations. For more information, see
Prediction Calculation Properties. When this checkbox is selected, the following results are calculated and stored for all parts and assemblies in the active system tree configuration: failure rate, MTBF, availability, and reliability. Calculations are based on the data in the
Project’s Mission Profile file. For more information, see
Mission Profile Files.
1. Select > . The Mission Reliability Results window opens, displaying all mission-related results stored in the Mission Reliability Results table.
2. For View Result, which appears above the table, select the calculation result to view for the total mission time and each mission phase. Choices are Failure Rate (default), MTBF, Reliability, and Availability.
The failure rate calculation takes the percentage of the mission phase into account. For dormant phases, the dormant failure rate is used, taking the dormant environment from the phase into account.
At the bottom of the page are Excel and Print buttons, which you can use to save table results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or to print them to a printer. For more information, see

3. When finished, click Close.
