Updating Part Data Globally in the System File

As indicated in Global Change Wizard, you can use the Global Change Wizard to globally update part data in the System file. Global changes cannot be undone.

1. Select any Prediction pane to make it active.

2. Select System > Global Change. The Global Change Wizard starts and displays the Select System Data page.

3. Select Prediction Parts (default) and click Next. The Select Parts page appears.

4. Select the appropriate option.

Option	Description
All parts in my system	When selected (default), the part data for all parts in the System file is updated.
Only parts in the selected assembly	When selected, part data for the parts in the selected assembly is updated.
Parts in the selected assembly and all child assemblies	When selected, the part data for the parts in the selected assembly and all child assemblies (subassemblies) is updated.
Parts matching this filter	When selected, a field for selecting a filter becomes available. The criteria for the filter selected determine the parts for which part data is updated. All System Tree filters in the enabled Filter files are available for selection.

5. Click Next. The Select Part Types page appears. The remaining steps for this procedure are the same as those for updating the part data in a Prediction Parts Library file. For more information, see Completing Global Change Wizard Pages for Part Data Updates.
