Process Grade Questions for RF and HF Microwave Components
The following figure shows the questions for the FIDES 2009 and FIDES 2009 Parts Count models when Microwave Component is selected as the FIDES part category. You answer these process grade questions to generate a ΠProcess_RFHF factor that grades how well control over the life cycle of an RF (radiofreqency) or HF (hyperfrequency) product influences its reliability. This Pi factor value can have a maximum value of 50 for a board comprising power components. For a product that includes only transistors and low-level amplifiers, criteria 2 through 5 are not applicable. In this case, the maximum value is 30.
