To use a FRACAS-calculated failure rate for a part, you create a data link to this part, which can reside in either the same system tree or another system tree. The Prediction Data pane for a part that is linked to a FRACAS-calculated failure rate displays a Linked to FRACAS message and a Failure Rate field. When prediction calculations run, this display-only field shows the last FRACAS-calculated failure rate for the linked part. For more information. see Linking FRACAS Data to a Part.
