When a part is inserted from an NPRD Library, the Prediction Data pane generally displays a failure rate that indicates the number of failures per million hours. However, if Uses Miles/Hour or Uses Cycles/Hour is selected, the failure rate indicates the failures per million miles or failures per million cycles. In such cases, you must enter a miles-per-hour value in Miles/Hour or a cycles-per-hour value in Cycles/Hour to convert the failure rate to failures per million hours.
