Generating a Prediction Reliability over Time Graph
When Reliability over time is selected on the Data Type page of the Graph Wizard, you can graph calculated results for reliability over time.
1. Start the Graph Wizard and complete the first few pages as described in Generating a Prediction Graph.
2. On the Prediction Graph Type page, select Reliability over time and click Next. The Select Times page appears so that you can specify the times at which you want to show reliability results on the graph.
Because the Range of times checkbox is selected by default, the options for specifying start and end times and an interval are available.
3. If you want to specify a range of time, do the following:
a. Ensure that the Range of times checkbox is selected.
b. For From, enter the start time for the first reliability result to graph. The default is 0.
c. For To, enter the end time for the last reliability result to graph. The default is the value for Prediction > Calculate reliability at in the System file properties. If this property is blank or has a value less than or equal to zero, 100 is used. For more information, see Prediction System File Properties.
d. For Increment, enter the interval to use to determine the other times at which to graph reliability results. The default is 1/10 of the value entered for To. If you change the value for To, the increment value changes to 1/10 of the newly entered value.
4. If you want to supply specific times, do the following:
a. Select the Selected times checkbox. The field below this option becomes available so that you can enter the times at which you want to graph reliability results.
b. Enter each time, using spaces to separate entries.
5. When finished, click Next. The Filter Data page appears so that you can indicate which records to use for the graph.
6. Complete this page, which is shown by most prediction reports. For more information, see Filter Data Page.
7. Click Next. The Graph Options page appears so that you can specify how the graph is to look.
8. Complete the Graph Options page and all remaining pages to generate the graph. For more information, see Specifying Graph Options.
Once the wizard closes, the Select Configuration window opens if more than one configuration exists in the System file.
9. If the Select Configuration window opens, select the appropriate configuration and click OK to generate the graph.
