Entering FIDES Inductors and Transformers

The following table describes the part parameters required for inductors and transformers when a FIDES model is selected for the calculation. For the Inductor, Transformer category, FIDES models support two subcategories:

• Inductor

• Transformer

Parameter	Type	Description
[Standard FIDES Parameters]	---	For more information, see FIDES Standard Part Parameters.
Type	Choice List [Parts Count only for Transformer category]	The type of inductor or transformer, depending on the subcategory selected. Choices vary by subcategory.
Temperature Rise	Real (Degrees C)	The rise in temperature between the operating temperature and the case. If you enter a value for this parameter, this value is added to the operating temperature.
