Entering 299B Semiconductors

When 299B is selected as the prediction calculation model, the parameters that you must enter for a semiconductor vary based on subcategories. This model supports all but the semiconductor subcategories: HBT and Microwave Transistor.

In the updated 299B standard, more specific equations exist for the electrical stress ratio for semiconductors. Additionally, two-sided transistors are now supported. A failure rate for each transistor is computed and then added together. Two-sided transistors have their own special electrical stress ratio function.
