Enabling a Prediction Bayesian File for an Assembly
When the 217Plus or PRISM model is selected, you can enable a Prediction Bayesian file for any assembly by selecting it for Bayesian Data file in its Calculation Data pane.

To use a Prediction Bayesian file with another supported model, temporarily switch the model selected in the assembly’s Calculation Data pane to 217Plus or PRISM so that the Bayesian Data file field is shown. After specifying the file to use, switch back to the original model selection.

1. In the System Tree Items table, select the assembly.
2. Select the Calculation Data pane.
3. Use the browse button for Bayesian Data file to select the file.
When prediction calculations run, the test or field data in the file specified for Bayesian Data file is used to adjust the base failure rate calculated for the assembly.
