Enabling a Prediction Process Grade File for an Assembly
When the 217Plus or PRISM model is selected, you can enable a custom Prediction Process Grade file for any assembly by selecting it in Process Grade file in its Calculation Data pane.
*
To use a Prediction Process Grade file with another supported model, temporarily switch the model selected in the assembly’s Calculation Data pane to 217Plus or PRISM so that Process Grade file is shown. After specifying the file to use, switch back to the original model selection.
1. In the System Tree Items table, select the appropriate assembly.
2. In the Calculation Data pane, use the browse button for Process Grade file to select the Prediction Process Grade file.
3. In the Process Grade pane, view the Pi factors for the selected Process Grade file. When the 217Plus or PRISM model is selected, the Pi factors shown are for the default Process Grade file.
System file properties determine the process grade calculation method and whether custom Prediction Process Grade file selections trickle down to child records. For more information, see Specifying Process Grade Properties.
