Only one risk level list is present in the Master List Library file: Risk Level. In the Project’s Data Definition file, you can attach this list, or a custom list that you have inserted in a List Library file, to Risk Level. A custom risk level list can have as many as 10 levels.

The following figure shows the display text, code, and value for the items in the Risk Level list. When this list is attached to Risk Level, selecting Medium results in the use of a risk level value of 3 in FMEA calculations for the mode.
