FMEA Control Plan/DVP Header Window
The FMEA Control Plan Header window and the FMEA DVP Header window are basically the same. These windows display general information about control plans or DVPs for the active FMEA. This is the type of summary information that you might want to display in a report header. You only need to supply information in these windows if you want to generate custom reports that include it.
After selecting the appropriate FMEA in the FMEA Table, select FMEA > Edit FMEA Control Plan Header.
After selecting the appropriate FMEA in the FMEA Table, select FMEA > Edit DVP Header.
To quickly change to the header for a different FMEA, you use the navigation control at the top of the window. For more information, see Specifying Header Information.
The default fields in the Header windows for control plans and DVPs are basically the same. For descriptions, see Control Plan/DVP Header Fields. Clicking Customize opens the Customize window, where you can add, remove, and reorder the fields. For more information, see Customize FMEA Control Plan/DVP Header Window.

All records in the FMEA Tree Items table are related to one single control plan header and one single DVP header. Because each FMEA Worksheet record relates to a FMEA Tree Items record, all FMEA Worksheet records are related to the same single control plan header and DVP header. Records in the FMEA Control Plans table and FMEA DVPs table are not related to these headers until they are associated with a FMEA Tree Items record or FMEA Worksheet record. You can use the same control plan or DVP with multiple records in multiple FMEAs. This means that a single control plan or DVP can relate to multiple headers. You can see these relationships only if you create a custom report.
