Clicking Customize in either the FMEA Control Plan Header window or FMEA DVP Header window opens its Customize window. The Customize FMEA Control Plan Header window and the Customize FMEA DVP Header window are basically the same. The Available fields list displays the fields that you can add to the Header window. The Selected fields list displays the fields that are already shown in the Header window.

To add a field to the end of the Selected fields list, you select it in the Available fields list and click Add. To remove a field, you select it in the Selected fields list and click Remove. Double-clicking a field in either list moves it to the other list.

Because fields in the Header window are shown in the order in which they appear in the Selected fields list, you might want to reorder them. To reorder a field, you click it in the Selected fields list and drag it to the desired location in this list. When you click OK, the Header window is updated. Fields are laid out in two columns, and the window itself is resized if necessary. All memo fields default to three lines to support multi-line entry.
