Associating FMEA Records or Global Attributes with DVPs
From the FMEA Tree Items, FMEA Worksheet, and Global Attributes tables, you can use special fields to associate records with existing DVPs.
1. From the record that you want to associate with a DVP, click the special field for associations.
In the FMEA Tree Items or FMEA Worksheet, table, click DVPs.
In the Global Attribute table, click FMEA DVPs.
A browse button becomes available.
2. Click the browse button. The Associated FMEA DVPs window opens, displaying a table with all existing DVPs.
The first column, which is always Associated, contains checkboxes that indicate the DVPs that are already associated with the record.
3. Select Associated for all DVPs that you want to associate with the record.
You can click Select All or Clear All to select or clear all checkboxes and then customize your selections from there.
4. When finished, click Close.
You return to the record from which you opened the Associated FMEA DVPs window. The special field for associations is updated to display the number of DVPs that are associated with the record.
