Workflow File Overview
In the Enterprise Edition, the Workflow file stores the steps for your FMEA and FRACAS processes. When the value for Workflow State is changed on a table or form in the System file, the email message for that workflow step is sent to the email addresses specified in the Email window. The Workflow file is a singular support file, which means that only one occurrence of this file type can exist in the Project. The Workflow file is created when the Enterprise Project is created. The Workflow file can be used by all System files that include the FMEA and FRACAS modules.
The Workflow file has three panes in which workflow steps are inserted and email messages are configured and previewed. The following table describes these panes.

The Workflow file uses the email properties configured in the desktop version of the Administrator application by default. To configure different email properties for the Workflow file, you use the Email Settings window for this file. For more information, see Email Settings Pane.
