Viewing and Managing Attributes Associated with a DVP or Control Plan
From the FMEA DVPs or FMEA Control Plans table, you can view the Global Attributes records associated with a particular DVP or control plan.
To view associated Global Attributes records:
1. In the FMEA DVPs table or the FMEA Control Plans table, click the Associated Attributes field for the record. This field is in the last column by default. A browse button becomes available.
2. Click the browse button. The Associated Attributes window opens, displaying a table. This table lists all attributes. The attributes that are already associated with the record are always shown above the attributes that are not associated with it.
This table always contains System Tree Item and all fields in the special Global Attributes table. There are no merged cells or tree structure. All attributes are shown in a flat list so that you can specify which to associate with the record. The first column, which is always Associated, contains a checkbox that indicates if the attribute is associated with the record.
When the checkbox is selected, the attribute is associated.
When the checkbox is cleared, the attribute is not associated.
You can click Select All or Clear All to select or clear all checkboxes and then customize your selections from there.
You can use the filter bar to limit the attributes shown. Additionally, at the top of this window, you can use the filter selection control to apply an existing filter for the Global Attributes table. You can also click the button for the Filter Wizard to create and apply a new filter.
3. When you are finished viewing and/or selecting associated attributes for the record, click Close.
