Table Rows
In all tables but the FMEA Worksheet, one row corresponds to one record. Thus, the Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete commands for tables and trees function similarly to how these commands work in spreadsheets. When a row is selected, the commands act on the current record. When no row is selected, they act on the text in the active cell. The menu commands change to indicate whether the operation is performed on a row or the text in the active cell. For more information, see Table How-Tos.
Because one row in the FMEA Worksheet table does not correspond to one record, it has its own commands for cutting, copying, and deleting the various FMEA data level records inserted in it. For more information, see FMEA Worksheet Record Management.

Cutting and copying records places them in the Windows Clipboard. You can paste these records from the Clipboard into a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel.
