If you can sort or filter the data in a table, the filter bar appears above the table by default. You can switch between showing and hiding the filter bar by doing the following:

When a checkmark appears beside the Filter Bar command, the filter bar is shown. When no checkmark appears beside this command, the filter bar is hidden. For more information, see Filter Bar for Filterable Tables.
