Showing and Hiding an Auto-Hide Window
When an auto-hide window is operating in auto-hide mode, a tab for this window is shown in the border of the Windchill Risk and Reliability window.
To show the window, place the mouse cursor over the tab. The auto-hide window slides into view.
To hide the window, move the mouse cursor off of the window. If the auto-hide window is in focus because you have clicked inside it, click inside another window to change the focus. The auto-hide window then slides out of view, with only the tab for it remaining visible.
If an auto-hide window or its tab is not visible, then it has been closed. To open the window, you select a command on a menu. For example, to open the Options window, select Tools > Options. While the Options window is an auto-hide window, it is pinned into place by default. This means that the Options window remains in view until you either close it or unpin it.
If you right-click in this window’s title bar, Docking is selected. To place the Options window in auto-hide mode, you unpin it by right-clicking in its title bar and selecting Auto-Hide. For more information, see Showing and Hiding an Auto-Hide Window. For more information about the Options window, see User Options.
