Saving Property Changes
If unsaved changes exist when an attempt is made to load new properties, a window opens for indicating whether you want to save these changes. Unsaved changes might be found when you do one of the following:
Use the navigation control to select another diagram object. For more information, see Changing the Active Object in the Properties Window.
Click a link to open an RBD support file from a Properties window.
In the Options window, two checkboxes control whether the above messages are shown.
When General > Show navigation record change message is selected (default), this message is shown if unsaved changes exist when you use the navigation control to select another object. For more information, see General User Options.
When RBD > Show save message when clicking file links is selected (default), this message is shown when unsaved changes exist when you click the View Spares File or View Repair Resources File link to open one of these support files. For more information, see RBD User Options.
If you select the checkbox in the window for saving changes and not showing this message again, the checkbox for this particular situation is cleared in the Options window. When the checkbox is cleared, the changes are saved and then either the selected object’s properties window or the selected support file opens.
