Problems Table Fields
The Problems table has its own Table Format file. For more information, see Table Format Files. Descriptions follow of the default fields in this table.
Option
Description
Problem Identifier
The unique identifier assigned to the problem. The format is specified by Identifiers > Problem Identifier in the System file properties. For more information, see Identifiers System File Properties.
Entry Date
The date that the problem was created.
Description
A description of the problem that includes details that might help the analyst determine the appropriate correction action.
Entered By
The user name of the person who inserted the problem.
Associated Records
A special field that displays a count of the records associated with the problem. Clicking in this field opens the Associated Records window, where you can add and remove the records associated with the problem.
Closed
Indicates whether the corrective action for the problem was accepted by management. Closing a problem closes all FMEA actions or FRACAS incidents associated with the problem.
To have different fields appear in the Problems table, you can modify the default Table Format file for the table type, Table Format (Problems). This is very easily done using the Format Builder. For more information, see Using the Format Builder to Modify an Enabled Table.
