Options Window
The Options window is an auto-hide window that provides for setting your user options. General information about auto-hide windows and how to use them appears in Auto-Hide Windows.
To open the Options window, select Tools > Options. Initially, the Options window is pinned into place. When it is operating in auto-hide mode, the Options tab is visible on the left side of the Windchill Risk and Reliability window. Placing the mouse cursor over this tab causes the Options window to slide out into view.
The many user options that are available in this window are grouped under headings, which appear in bold.
To show the options under a collapsed heading, you click the + (plus) sign to the left of the heading.
To hide the options under an expanded heading, you click the - (minus) sign that appears to the left of the heading.
Clicking the heading itself also switches between showing and hiding the options under it.
When an option under a heading is selected, a description of that option appears at the bottom of the Options window. You may have to scroll to see all of the options that are available. You modify user options in the same manner as file properties. For more information, see Setting Properties and User Options.
When you are finished viewing and setting user options, you can either close or move the mouse cursor off the Options window, depending on the mode in which it is operating.
The headings and options that are shown in the Options window depend not only on your Edition but also on which modules are licensed in your current session. For more information, see Option Headings.
