NPRD Parts Search Criteria
In the
Library Browse window, when
NPRD 2011 Parts or
NPRD 1995 Parts is selected for Search for in the
Search pane, the search criteria fields for NPRD Libraries are those described in the table below. Both of these fields are associated with lists. For more information about the NPRD Library, see

If you select a (Summary) item for Subcategory, the failure rate shown in the Library Browse window is an average of all parts of that NPRD type or subtype. For example, when Accumulator is the category for an NPRD 2011 part, Subcategory items include (Summary), Hydraulic (Summary), Pneumatic (Summary), and Pressurized (Summary) Explanations of these four (Summary) items follow.
• The failure rate shown for the (Summary) item is the average of the failure rates for all accumulators in the NPRD 2011 Library.
• The failure rate for the Hydraulic (Summary) item is the average of the failure rates for all hydraulic accumulators in the NPRD 2011 Library.
• The failure rate for the Pneumatic (Summary) item is the average of the failure rates for all pneumatic accumulators in the NPRD 2011 Library.
• The failure rate for the Pressurized (Summary) item is the average of the failure rates for all pressurized accumulators in the NPRD 2011 Library.
