Identifier Configuration Properties

The following table describes the properties in the window for configuring the identifier for a table record or diagram object. For more information, see Configuring Identifiers for Table Records or Diagram Objects.

Property	Description
Prefix	The descriptive text that is to precede the number.
Minimum digits	The minimum number of digits to use for the number.
Suffix	The descriptive text that is to follow the number.
Sample	An example of what the identifier looks like based on the specified properties.
Next ID	The number for the next identifier to assign to an inserted record or object.
