Generating a Graph Using the Select Graph Template Window
When a System file is open, you can quickly load a Graph Template file to generate a predefined graph based on the current data in the System file. Using this method bypasses the Graph Wizard, which means that modifications cannot be made to the graph settings prior to graph generation.
1. Select Tools > Graph. The Select Graph Template window opens.
Listed are all enabled Graph Template files. The default selection is the first Graph Template file associated with the active module in the System file.
A prefix of (Common) appears before all Graph Template files in the Common Library. For more information, see Common Library.
2. Select the Graph Template file and click OK. The predefined graph is generated based on the current data in the System file.
The Click here to launch the Graph Wizard link at the bottom of the Select Graph Template window starts the Graph Wizard. You would click this link if you want to create a custom graph or load a predefined graph so that can customize its saved settings.
