Expanding and Collapsing Branches
In the System Tree Items table, or in other hierarchical trees, you can expand and collapse branches so that child items are shown or hidden. When a branch is expanded, all children of this item are shown. When a branch is collapsed, all children of this item are hidden, and only the parent item is shown.
You can use any of the following techniques to expand and collapse branches:
To expand the branch so that all child items are shown, click the + (plus) sign that appears to its left of the item.
To collapse the branch so that no child items are shown, click the - (minus) sign that appears to the left of the item.
Select the item and then select Tree > Expand Branch or Tree > Collapse Branch to show or hide child items. Selecting Expand All or Collapse All from this same menu shows all items in the entire tree or hides all items in the tree except the top-level item.

In the Project Properties window, you can select Tree > Collapse to Headings to show only file headings in the Project Properties pane. For more information, see Project Properties Window.
