Creating the Storehouse
As described in Storehouse, this special Project can store files of all types. You can copy the files in the Storehouse into other Projects. All files, including Projects, must be closed before you can create the Storehouse. In the Enterprise Edition, only system administrators can create the Storehouse.
1. Close all open files. The command for creating the Storehouse is available only if no files are open.
2. Select Tools > Create Storehouse Project.
If the Storehouse is created in the Team Edition, this special Project is immediately created and opened in the Project Properties window. In this case, the directory path for this special Project is shown for File name in the File Properties pane. For more information, see Project Properties Window.
If the Storehouse is created in the Enterprise Edition, the Create Project window opens first. Name is displayed-only because this special Project must be named Storehouse. Database is available in case you have multiple databases and want to select a different one in which to create the Storehouse. When you click OK, the Storehouse is created in the selected database and is then opened in the Project Properties window.
From the Project Properties window, you can copy in the files that you want to store here from other Projects, including the special Common Library.
3. Use the Copy Files from Project wizard to copy files into the Storehouse. For more information, see Copying Files from Another Project into the Project Open in the Project Properties Window.
