Border
The following table describes the properties that can appear under Border in the Properties window for a report object.
Property
Description
Border color
The color for the lines that are to border an object that contains text or for a box. The default is black. When you click this property, a drop-down control appears. Clicking it opens the same window as clicking the color control. For more information, see Using the Color Control.
Bottom border, Left border, Right border, and Top border appear for an object that contains text. You use these checkboxes to indicate whether you want to display lines on the object’s four sides. When all four checkboxes are selected, a box is placed around the object.
Style and Width appear for a box. You use these properties to specify the type of line to use for the box.
Bottom border
When selected, a line is placed beneath the object.
Left border
When selected, a line is placed to the left of the object.
Right border
When selected, a line is placed to the right of the object.
Top border
When selected, a line is placed above the object.
Style
The type of line. This property is available for a box. Choices are Dash, Dash Dot, Dash Dot Dot, Dot, and Solid.
Width
The width of the line in pixels. This property is available for a box. The default is 1.
