ALT Results Pane for an Accelerated Degradation Analysis
When an accelerated degradation data set is selected in the LDA Navigator, once it is calculated, results are shown in its ALT Results pane. To calculate an accelerated degradation data set, you either click the first button in the title bar in its ALT Parameters pane or perform the procedure described in Calculating ALT Results.
The following table describes the display-only columns that display results in the ALT Results pane.
Column
Description
Group Name
The unique name assigned to a set of data points. For all degradation models but Gompertz, at least two data points must exist in each group. For the Gompertz model, at least four data points must exist for each group.
a
The estimated value for model parameter a.
b
The estimated value for model parameter b.
c
For the Gompertz model only, the estimated value for model parameter c. This is the only degradation analysis model with three parameters. When any other model is selected in the ALT Parameters pane, this column is not shown.
Time to Failure
The time at which the failure or suspension occurred. Failure times must be greater than 0. Suspension times must be greater than or equal to 0. You can leave this field blank.
Failure/Suspensions
Indicates whether the data point is a failure or a suspension.
