ALT Data Points Pane for an Accelerated Degradation Data Set
When an accelerated degradation data set is selected in the LDA Navigator, you supply the data to analyze in the ALT Data Points pane.
*
In both this module and the Weibull module, you can change, reset, and save data point column names. In the above figure, the first stress column (Stress 1) is renamed Temperature. For more information, see Renaming Data Point Columns.
The following table describes the default columns that appear in the ALT Data Points table for an accelerated degradation data set. You can enter data directly in this table or copy it from an electronic file in CSV (comma separated value) format and then paste it into this table.
Column
Description
Group Name
The unique name assigned to a set of data points. For all degradation models but Gompertz, at least two data points must exist in each group. For the Gompertz model, at least four data points must exist for each group.
Time
The time at which the degradation measurement was taken.
Degradation Value
The measured degradation value at the measurement time.
[stress columns]
The stress columns that are marked as active in the Stress Columns window. For more information, see Stress Model Window. The stress values must be the same for all units in the same group.
The following table describes the number of data points per group and the time and degradation ranges required for successful calculations.
