Creating Change Transitions
*
Starting with Windchill 12.1.1.0, the property wt.change2.changeTransitions is removed, and a new enumeration ChangeTransitions is added. In previous releases, this property controlled the addition or deletion of the life cycle transitions on the Release Target column menu list.
For more information on how to create a new enumeration see, Creating a New Enumeration.
The enumeration ChangeTransitions is the subset of enumeration Transition. The enumeration entries on ChangeTransitions are the change management transitions. It controls the addition or deletion of the transitions on the menu list of the Release Target column . You can observe that the added new entry of the transition is available on the life cycle transition of Life Cycle: Basic page.
For more information, see Managing Modeled Enumerations. Life cycle transitions are visible and can be selected when defining a life cycle template.
You can add or delete life cycle transition using the configuration. The custom enumerations that you add on Enumeration Organizer - ChangeTransitions are available on the life cycle transition. The new life cycle transitions can be functioned as release targets. Use the information page of the Custom Modeled Enumerations organizer panel to customize the modeled enumerations. For more information, see Managing Modeled Enumerations where you can find information on the following:
Viewing Enumeration Organizer: View its properties, as well as select the enumeration that you want to customize.
