Configuring Banner Messages
A new configurable mechanism is available for displaying maintenance messages and other alerts to all users.
Benefit
The new capability provides a quick and easy mechanism to manage important standard banner notifications from the UI. The older method of managing the banner and banner content requires modifying JSP and TXT files.
Summary
Use the Preference Management and the Text Tailoring utility to quickly configure banner notification. Select one of the three predefined severity levels to visually communicate the importance of this notification.
