Identifying Problems with Process Plans (Routings)
This section describes common problems and possible causes that relate to process plans (routings).
• Unable to create a process plan (routing). The following message appears:
Failed to create routing in SAP
The following can cause this problem:
◦ Plant value is blank in the Distribution target
◦ Work center for one of the operations in the process plan does not exist in SAP
◦ It is not possible to allocate the component of phantom children to an operation
• Unable to create a process plan (routing). The following message appears:
Input data invalid
The following can cause this problem:
◦ Invalid character length. Check the length of the following data. If the length of one of the following attributes is more than its maximum length you will see an invalid data message:
