Executing Windchill Diagnostic Tasks from the Diagnostic Scheduler Utility
Product: Windchill
Release: 12.0.2.0
Summary
You can schedule the execution of the mandatory as well as non-mandatory WinDU tasks using the Windchill Diagnostic Tasks Scheduler utility. You can run the corresponding WinRU task automatically for the WinDU that reports a potential problem.
For the WinDU tasks that do not have corresponding the WinRU task, you can get the required recommendations for resolving the potential problems by sending the logs to PTC. To automatically send WinDU logs to PTC, select the option Automatically send WinDU logs to PTC to receive recommended resolution for WinDU errors in Windchill Performance Advisor in Windchill Diagnostic Tasks Scheduler. For this, Windchill Performance Advisor must be enabled. The logs are encrypted before sending them to PTC. You can view the recommendations on the Windchill Performance Advisor dashboard.
