Maximizing the Oracle Server/Windchill Server Connection
Due to the large number of objects and CAD documents involved in database transactions, it is highly recommended that the connection between the Oracle server and the Windchill method server machines is both low latency and high bandwidth. You can use the Windchill Configuration Assistant to maximize the number of connections between the Oracle server and Windchill method server.

Bulk HTTP data transfer using Apache on Windows 2000 can be restricted by Apache's default send buffer size. It is recommended to set the property SendBufferSize=16384 in httpd.conf to significantly improve throughput over high latency, low bandwidth WANs.
