Configuring the Windchill Interference Management Service
These are the high-level steps to follow when configuring Interference Management Services:
1. Configure the Interference Engine that is based on the Creo View MCAD Adapters Client Worker. See "Configuring the Batch Interference Engine" in the Creo View MCAD Adapters Installation and Configuration Guide.
2. Configure the Interference Engine as a Windchill CLASH Worker, using the Worker Configuration Wizard, accessed from the Worker Agent Administrator UI.
3. Configure the Windchill CLASH Publisher with the credentials for downloading Windchill content.
a. Add the authentication credentials to the auth.properties file. This is the only entry in this file. The syntax is:auth=<username>:<password>.
b. Replace <username> and <password> with valid values. The specified user name must have read access to the Windchill objects to be processed through Windchill Visualization Services, and it must have the authorization to download the content from Windchill. This file should be in the location referenced in the publish.cadconvert.CLASH property value, by the useworkerdownload argument.
4. Enable Windchill Interference Management Services by setting the Enabled property to Yes in the Site Preferences under Visualization > Interference Detection.
