Interference Detection
Use Interference Detection to determine whether parts of a model overlap, touch, or are too close to each other by means of one of the following methods:
Creo View Desktop Interference Analysis—Provides a method of performing interactive interference detection calculations in the Windchill client.
Dynamic Interference Detection—Provides the additional ability to detect dynamic interferences between animated (translated and rotated) parts or sub-assemblies if parts within an assembly. This requires a license for both Animation and Interference Detection modules.
Refer to “Interference Detection” in the Creo View Help Centers.
Windchill Interference Management Services (also known as Batch Interference Detection)—Leverages the Creo View Adapters Client Worker based Interference Engine to provide an automated method of performing interference detection on the largest assemblies in batch (in the background) using a CLASH worker.
Refer to Windchill Interference Management Services in the Windchill Visualization Services Administrator's Guide and Creating an Interference Detection Definition and succeeding topics in the Windchill Help Centers.
