Modifying an Attribute Mapping File
When you create a defect, the attributes and the corresponding values in the defect are stored in Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software as global attributes based on predefined mapping. The attributeMap.xml file has lines of code with default attribute names and values for Integrity Defects, Bugzilla and Atlassian JIRA. To create customized attribute mapping criteria, you can modify this file with a standard text editor and store it in the following location:
<codebase>/registry/swlink/dts/attributeMap.xml
To change the location of the attribute map file, you can set the following property:
com.ptc.swlink.dts.attributeMap=<File name and full path>
