Due to the large number of objects and CAD documents involved in database transactions, it is highly recommended that the connection between the Oracle server and the Windchill method server machines is both low latency and high bandwidth.

Bulk HTTP data transfer using Apache on Windows 2000 can be restricted by Apache's default send buffer size. It is recommended to set the SendBufferSize=16384 property in httpd.conf to significantly improve throughput over high latency, low bandwidth WANs.
