Pruning an Overloaded Structure to Derive New Designs
The Save As action is typically used to make a copy of an existing product structure for the purpose of deriving new designs. For example, you could use an overloaded product structure as a starting point for new product designs. A new design can then be created by removing unwanted parts from the copy of the overloaded structure.
