About Purging
Windchill allows you to permanently remove data (objects) from your production system using the purging method.
You use purge functionality to:
• Remove unwanted data from the system, including both metadata and content
To purge data from the
Windchill database, you
specify object selection criteria for the purge job and then purge the data.
