Configuring an Out-of-Process JDBC Adapter
Additional steps might be necessary if you are using the adapter out-of-process, including:
When creating the LDAP entry, delete the name in the Service Class field. Add the host and port used to access the adapter in the Host and Port fields.
Encrypt the <adapter_service>.passwd property.
Identify the start file to use when starting the JDBC adapter out of process.
Specify an additional Launch property for the Naming Service.
