Disassociating a Context from an Adapter
This procedure provides instructions on how to disassociate contexts to an Integrity source (SCM) adapter.
Do not remove context associations to adapters without first investigating and determining that those context associations can be removed.
*
Contexts can be a site, organizations, products, projects, and libraries. For additional information, see Managing Context Associations and Associating a Context to an Adapter.
1. From Site > Utilities or Organizations > Utilities select Adapters Administration in the System Administration section of the page to open the Adapters Administration window.
2. The Adapter Associations table lists the contexts associated to one or more adapters in the site or organization.
3. To disassociate contexts to one or more adapters:
a. To disassociate a context to a singular adapter, click Remove Association in the object row of the adapter you want to disassociate a context to.
b. To disassociate more than one context; select the object rows you want to disassociate a context to. Click Remove Association in the upper right corner of the Adapter Associations table.
4. The system responds with an error message notifying you that removing these contexts also removes the external system content from these Windchill objects.
5. Click OK to disassociate the selected contexts, or click Cancel to abort the procedure.
6. Click Close to exit from the Adapters Administration utility.
