Updating a Folder
To update a folder from the Vault Configuration window:
1. Select the folder, then click or select Object > Update to open the Update Folder window.
2. Modify the properties as needed:
If you change the folder name in the Name field, the new name that you specify must be unique.
You can select a new vault location from the Vault list. For example, you might move a folder to a different vault if the folders in their current vault are running out of available storage space. By moving a folder, you can increase the space available for storing content files.
You cannot change a vault for a root folder.
*
You cannot associate a folder that is originally associated with a vault to a vault that has its automatic folder creation enabled.
Select the Read Only checkbox to specify that this folder is not available to store content files when they are uploaded, or clear it to make the folder available for content files to be uploaded as well as downloaded.
When the disk storage area represented by a folder becomes full, the folder is automatically designated as read-only.
Select the Enabled checkbox to indicate that the folder can be used to store content files, or clear it to indicate that the folder cannot be used to store content files. Before a folder can be enabled, it must be associated with a host (that is, it must be mounted).
*
Every folder in a site should be mounted on all hosts configured for that site.
3. Click OK.
