Restructure Transferred Nodes

You can apply restructuring rules to the transferred nodes in the downstream structure. The application may need to create a new iteration of the transferred nodes in the downstream structure. The restructuring rules can be configured using available properties or completely customized by modifying the logic defined in the delegate classes. For more information on these delegate classes, see Delegates Supporting Generate Downstream Structure Action Framework.

The following logic can be applied to restructure the transferred nodes:

• Remove parts from the downstream structure. For more information, see Removing a Part.

• Add usage attributes to the parts in the downstream structure. For more information, see Adding a Usage Attribute.

• Add child and parent parts to the parts in the downstream structure based on information from associated process plans. For more information, see Adding a Child Part and Adding a Parent Part.
