Publishing a Business Object
Publishing is initiated as part of the Windchill ESI release to manufacturing workflow. When a Change Administrator II changes an object state, or if an engineering change order reaches a completion state in Windchill PDMLink, the release to manufacturing workflow is triggered and business objects are published to the assigned distribution targets.
Publishing can occur when:
• Clicking the Send To Distribution Target action.
• An object changes state.
• An associated change notice changes state.
• A promotion request is approved or reviewed.
